Molly-Mae faced criticism for 'not acknowledging her privilege' when discussing her work ethic and poverty last week, telling BBC Dragon's Den Steven Bartlett that we all have the same 24 hours in the day.
The Sun newspaper reports a PLT spokesperson has defended Molly Mae and said her remarks are being trolled out of context. The former Love Island contestant, 22, said in an episode of the Diary Of A CEO podcast, released last month, that "you're given one life and it's down to you what you do with it".Steve Bartlett who interviewed her on the podcast said: "Molly Mae did an interview on my podcast, yesterday a soundbite from that interview went viral, she trended No.1 on Twitter, every newspaper covered it and MPs weighed in. "I've had male guests say what she said.
