McDonald's to hike menu prices for first time in 14 years - with cheeseburger increasing by 20p

McDonald's fans have been warned they will begin to see higher prices across its branches - with a fan favourite burger increasing by 20p.

The iconic fast-food chain has revealed that a number of popular items from their menu will rise in price as the cost of living continues to take its toll.

Included on the list of price increases is the much loved 99p cheese burger which has risen for the first time in 14 years to £1.19.

McDonald's has blamed the recent prices hikes on the rising rates of inflation which has forced them to increase costs by around 10p and 20p.

Heat 2 fleshes out the events before and after Mann’s 1995 crime classic Heat, and lands atop the NYT list in its first week in publication. Mann wrote his novel debut with co-writer Meg Gardiner in a book published through Mann’s William Morrow imprint. Heat 2 is the first book in a three book multi-million dollar deal between Michael Mann books and the Harper Collins division, In a Deadline feature on the book last week, Mann said that he plans to lean into continuing the crime story, which in the present focuses on the criminal exploits of Chris Shiherlis, played by Val Kilmer in the original film, and Detective Vincent Hanna, played by Al Pacino in the film. Mann hopes to adapt Heat 2 into a theatrical feature, after he completes Ferrari with Adam Driver, Penelope Cruz and Shailene Woodley starring.

The star of cult-favorite show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" has landed back in the hospital after suffering a cardiac incident. Actor Nicholas Brendon was "rushed to emergency," according to a statement posted on his Instagram.The medical emergency occurred two weeks ago, and was the reason given for why Brendon had gone relatively silent on social media.            View this post on Instagram                       A post shared by Nicholas Brendon (@nicholasbrendon) In a series of photos, the actor can be seen in an ambulance, wheelchair and on a hospital bed.  The post - written by someone on Brendon's team - continued, "Some of you might remember he had a similar incident after his second spinal surgery last year (for Cauda Equina) but this time, (sic) he is trying to get a little more rest and has been concentrating on medical appointments." Cauda Equina Syndrome is defined by the American Association of Neurological Surgeons as a time "when there is dysfunction of multiple lumbar and sacral nerve roots of the cauda equina." The cauda equina is "the collection of nerves at the end of the spinal cord." This directly affects a person's motor skills, as well as sensory functions.
