Maya Rudolph's New Apple TV+ Series 'Loot' Gets First Look Photos, Premiere Date Revealed
justjared.comApple TV+ has a new workplace comedy starring Maya Rudolph and it’s premiering very soon! The streaming service just announced the premiere date for Loot and some first look photos were also revealed.
The ensemble cast for Loot also includes Pose‘s Michaela Jae Rodriguez, Undateable‘s Ron Funches, Married‘s Nat Faxon, Sunnyside‘s Joel Kim Booster, and Broadway star Stephanie Styles. Click inside to read more about the show and to check out the premiere date… The 10-episode first season, which was created by Master of None‘s Alan Yang and 30 Rock‘s Matt Hubbard, will debut globally with three episodes on Friday, June 24, followed by one new episode weekly every Friday.
In Loot, billionaire Molly Novak (Rudolph) has a dream life, complete with private jets, a sprawling mansion and a gigayacht — anything her heart desires.
But when her husband of 20 years betrays her, she spirals publicly, becoming fuel for tabloid fodder. She’s reaching rock bottom when she learns, to her surprise, that she has a charity foundation run by the no-nonsense Sofia Salinas (Rodriguez), who pleads with Molly to stop generating bad press.
