Manhunt launched after thugs with English accents mug Scots teenager at knife point

knife point down a lane in a Scots town. The sickening robbery happened as the 19-year-old walked home around 7.30pm on Kennedy Drive onto Deedes Street, Airdrie.

He was tailed by the two men along Deedes Street to Shop Local store and then onto Southburn Road. They pulled out a blade and threatened him outside a lane leading to lock-up garages before making off with his wallet.Cops have launched a man hunt for the two and have released descriptions.The first suspect is described as black, between 17-20 years of age, around 5ft 10ins in height and of slim build wearing a beanie hat, dark-coloured jacket and black trousers and carrying an Adidas rucksack.The second suspect is described as black, aged between 17-20 years of age, around 5ft.
