Rio Ferdinand has mocked Liverpool by reminding them that Michael Owen won the Premier League title at Manchester United rather than Anfield.
Owen made his name at Liverpool, winning six trophies including the FA Cup, UEFA Cup and League Cup before earning a move to Real Madrid in 2004.
The former England striker was also awarded the prestigious Ballon d'Or in 2001, but his time in Spain only lasted a year and his return to the Premier League saw him spend four years at Newcastle before a three year spell at United.
During his time at Old Trafford, Owen was part of the squad who won the 2010-11 Premier League title - his only league title during his career.
