A man who was killed after being hit by a car on Deansgate has been named as an inquest opened into his death. Ahmed Abdelwahed was struck by a vehicle on the city centre street on Sunday, November 21.

Senior coroner Nigel Meadows confirmed that Mr Abdulwahed was 'a pedestrian involved in a road traffic collision in Deansgate, Manchester'.
