Greater Manchester Traffic Police have reported that Dean Buckley, of Appleford Avenue, Manchester, was convicted at Manchester Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, October 6, of drink driving, driving without insurance and for stopping on a crossing.

A breath test revealed that he was more than twice over the legal limit for alcohol. On Saturday, September 4, a traffic police unit saw Buckley stop his Renault Scenic on the zig-zag lines of a crossing before watching him stagger into a shop.
