With Manchester City’s 2019/20 Premier League campaign on hold due to the massive impact of the coronavirus pandemic, the club have turned their attentions to esports by entering a 128-team FIFA 20 tournament.
Hosted by League Two side Leyton Orient, the tournament will feature massive clubs from around the world, who are taking part in a pioneering esports event.
When Orient originally posted the idea on social media, the idea was to have a 64-team tournament, but they've had to expand the tournament to 128 teams due to the popularity of the idea, with teams like Manchester City, Newcastle United, Aston Villa, Wolves, Leeds United, West Ham United and many others all taking part.
