Man banned from keeping animals after throwing dog over fence and breaking its bones

A Shar Pei who suffered a host of injuries including broken ribs after his owner threw him over a fence has been undergoing treatment at Greater Manchester Animal Hospital.

Thomas Trinkl from Deeside has been given an 18-week suspended prison sentence and banned from keeping animals for 10 years after he reacted violently after becoming frustrated with training his pet.

Teddy was taken to the RSPCA ’s Greater Manchester Animal Hospital after a welfare officer visited Trinkl’s home following reports from members of the public who had seen the dog being hit and thrown over a fence.
