More than 100 suspected 9mm bullets were seized from a property on Stainmore Avenue in Ashton-under-Lyne on Thursday. A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs and possession of the ammunition.
He has since been released under investigation. Properties on St Stephen's Avenue in Audenshaw and Rochester Close in Ashton were also searched as part the investigation into the possession of firearms.
