Actress Maisie Williams pocketed almost $500,000 from her new social media app, Daisie. The Game of Thrones star launched the app in 2018, which links writers, musicians, designers, and animators in the creative industries with projects they can work on.
The freelancing platform got off to a rocky start, turning a first-year loss of $69,000, according to Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper.
However, the star has really made up for the shortfall this year, raking in an impressive $500,000 profit from the side venture.
According to Business Insider, Maisie launched the venture with co-creator Dom Santry, after she met the camera loader while they were both working on Netflix film, iBoy.
