Madeleine McCann cops receive almost 400 tip offs after German sex offender is named as suspect

Madeleine McCann’s disappearance have received almost 400 tip-offs after sex fiend Christian Brueckner was named as a suspect.

Officers at Scotland Yard have received numerous emails and phone calls relating to the paedophile as part of Operation Grange.

German authorities believe Madeleine, who was just three-years-old when she vanished, is dead and are investigating rapist Brueckner on suspicion of murder.

But British officers are still treating it as a missing persons case, the Daily Mirror reports.A Scotland Yard spokesperson said: "We have now received just short of 400 pieces of information.“We are pleased with the amount of calls and emails coming in and we are assessing them and prioritising them." Madeleine’s parents Kate and Gerry.
