Lorraine fans were left cringing over the "awkward" and "uncomfortable" moment presenter Ranvir Singh asked Alexander Skarsgård how he'd managed to train his body into such an impressive physicality for his role in new film The Northman on Tuesday, 5 April.
Appearing via video link on the morning show, 45 year old Alexander was joined by his co-star and The Queen's Gambit favourite Anya Taylor-Joy, 25.
But as news journalist Ranvir, 44, who recently opened up about her hair loss struggles with alopecia, tried to question the True Blood hunk over how he'd managed to embody the character of Prince Amleth, she made a number of comments on how different the actor's body looked. "Alexander you are naked from the waist up almost the entire time in there," she said. "Your body looks very different to the way you look now. "That in itself must have been quite a feat, what did you have to do to inhabit this huge Viking prince character because physically, it is different."
