Lorraine Kelly has hit back as her viewers were branded 'unemployed and feckless' following the uproar after Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he didn't know who she was.
The PM appeared on Good Morning Britain for an interview with Susanna Reid on Tuesday (May 3). As they rattled through various topics in the 30-minute interview Susanna then referenced ITV’s Lorraine, which airs after GMB.
But there was an awkward moment when Mr Johnson asked: "Who’s Lorraine?" to which she fired back: "Who’s Lorraine? Lorraine is a legend!" Lorraine saw the funny side over Mr Johnson's comment.
But she wasn't standing for it when a Twitter user took a swipe at her fans. They tweeted: "The only people who watch Lorraine are the unemployed and the feckless...I think that, far from losing Boris votes, it will probably increase his stock value enormously."
