emergency this morning. The 7am Loganair LOG321 flight from Edinburgh to Southampton declared a Squawk 7700 while flying over Dumfries.
It was expected to land in Southampton at 8.20am but returned to Edinburgh.Bosses at Loganair later confirmed the emergency was caused by a "pressurisation"problem.There were 13 passengers and three crews on board with no reports of injuires.The aircraft landed safely and taxied to its parking stand as normal.Loganair’s chief operations officer Maurice Boyle said: “Following an alert of a fault with one of the pressurisation components on flight LM321 to Southampton, the crew carried out the appropriate actions and returned to Edinburgh Airport.“We regret the inconvenience caused to our customers.
