Liam Gallagher
William John Paul Gallagher (born 21 September 1972) is an English singer and songwriter. He rose to fame as the lead singer of the rock band Oasis in the 1990s and 2000s, and later fronted the rock band Beady Eye in the early 2010s, before beginning a solo career after the dissolution of both bands. One of the most recognisable figures in British music, he is noted for his outspoken and abrasive manner; penchant for wearing parkas; distinctive singing style, in which he elongates vowels; and signature stance on stage, which consists of him holding his arms behind his back and singing up into a downward-facing microphone.

Liam Gallagher was devastated tonight after his beloved sausage dog Ruby died. The 48-year-old Oasis star tweeted a picture of him cuddled up with Ruby Tuesday - who is named after the Rolling Stones song.

He wrote: “Just lost this little girl tonight absolutely gutted RIP RUBY aka SPARKLE x.” Ruby is one of two sausage dogs Liam bought when he was married to All Saints star Nicole Appleton.

The other was named Brigitte Bardot after the actress, who Liam once named as the women he would most like to be for a day. Nicole, 46, posted tonight: "I can’t even...my beautiful baby girl Ruby Tuesday has passed away. "I feel physically sick and incredibly heart broken.
