Lacey Turner has said she had to "grieve the fact you aren't going to be a mother" as she opened up about her miscarriages.The EastEnders star now has two children – daughter Dusty, nearly two, and son Trilby, born in February – but went through the heartbreak of two miscarriages before welcoming them safely.
She spoke on BBC Breakfast on Tuesday morning about the loneliness of going through the miscarriages without telling people as she backed a charity campaign to improve support.
Lacey, 33, said: "For me, I think you become a mother the minute you're pregnant. "For that to be taken away, that's another loss. "You grieve the fact that you aren't going to be a mother, as well as losing a baby.
