Today, the dancehall heavyweights share "Pay For It," an ode to providing the finer things in life in the name of love—or at least lust.
Atop Rvssian's breezy riddim, Konshens and Spice trade brash bars about the cost of affection, both making their points with their equally commanding flows. “Me and Rvssian decided we needed to get one ah dem dancehall ballad deh,” Konshens said about the song in a statement. “If you check all the biggest dancehall songs, [they] have a nice, melodic hook and then you go into the verse and give them the authentic dancehall deejaying.
