being closed for over a year and a half due to the coronavirus pandemic, The King's Theatre opened their doors for the first time this week with a grand ribbon cutting celebration.
It has been extremely tough on everyone but particularly for the entertainment industry - so when it was time for the curtain to rise for the first time with a performance of 'Chicago' it really was smiles all round.
Posting on their Instagram, the theatre wrote: "Chicago: this is your half hour call. Only 30 minutes to go until the curtain rises at the King's Theatre for the first time in more than 500 days!
