Jimmy Fallon
James Thomas Fallon (born September 19, 1974) is an American comedian, actor, television host, writer, and producer. He is known for his work in television as a cast member on Saturday Night Live and as the host of late-night talk show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and before that Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. He grew up with an interest in comedy and music, moving to Los Angeles at 21 to pursue opportunities in stand-up comedy. He was commissioned to join NBC's Saturday Night Live as a cast member in 1998, fulfilling a lifelong dream. Fallon remained on SNL for six years between 1998 and 2004, co-hosting the program's Weekend Update segment and becoming a celebrity in the process. He left the program for the film industry, starring in films such as Taxi (2004) and Fever Pitch (2005).

Kelly Brianne Clarkson (born April 24, 1982) is an American singer-songwriter, actress, author and television personality. She rose to fame in 2002, after winning the first season of American Idol, which earned her a record deal with RCA Records. Clarkson's debut single, "A Moment Like This", topped the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and became the country's best-selling single of 2002. It was followed by the release of her debut studio album, Thankful (2003), which debuted atop the US Billboard 200. Trying to reinvent her image, Clarkson parted ways with Idol management and shifted to pop rock music for her second album, Breakaway (2004). After numerous top 40 radio number-one singles, such as "Since U Been Gone" and "Because of You", the album sold over 12 million copies worldwide and earned Clarkson two Grammy Awards.

Kelly Clarkson paid a virtual visit to “The Tonight Show” on Friday, where host Jimmy Fallon asked her about winning her first Daytime Emmy, taking the award for Entertainment Talk Show Host for “The Kelly Clarkson Show”.

Clarkson told Fallon that she’d been having a busy few weeks at the time, and was in the midst of playing with LEGOs with her kids when she received a phone call from her show’s executive producer “who just called me… out of nowhere.” As Clarkson recalled, “she was like, ‘You’re the best host.’ I was like, I almost started crying.

I was like, ‘Thank you so much! You are so nice… this is a kind thing to do, Alex, to just call someone and tell them they’re good at something.
