Kate Winslet is opening up with how she feels about working with controversial directors Woody Allen and Roman Polanski, years after their movies were released.
The Oscar-winning actress starred in Allen‘s 2017 movie Wonder Wheel and in Polanski‘s 2011 movie Carnage.
Both directors have been accused of sexual abuse. Kate previously said that she had an “extraordinary working experience” with the directors, but now is expressing her regret. “It’s like, what the f–k was I doing working with Woody Allen and Roman Polanski?” she said in a new interview with Vanity Fair. “It’s unbelievable to me now how those men were held in such high regard, so widely in the film industry and for as long as they were,” she added. “It’s f–king disgraceful.
