Kate Middleton pulled out all the stops to keep a promise to a little girl called Mila Sneddon when the pair adorably met face to face on Thursday.

Last year, the Duchess took part in a phone call with Mila, five, and her mother Lynda Sneddon, whose photo was included in her book, Hold Still.

During their sweet chat, Mila told Kate about her favourite colour and the mum-of-three took note – vowing to wear a pink dress for a future face to face meeting.

The Duchess of Cambridge fulfilled her promise and opted for a neon pink shirt-style dress as she finally met Mila, who underwent chemotherapy after being diagnosed with leukaemia, on the last day of her and Prince William's Scotland tour.
