The TV presenter had an incredibly difficult 2020 after her love Derek Draper caught COVID in March, leading to a lengthy stay in hospital, where he remains to this day.
Her home suffered two burst pipes over Christmas which added to her strife but thankfully, the Good Morning Britain presenter did get to spend time with Derek over the festive period.
Speaking to her colleague Ben Shephard, she shared how ‘tough’ Christmas was for her and her family. He shared that they were ‘very concerned’ for her over the holidays, to which she replied, ‘It was tough, it was tough for everybody.
