Joy as Tree of Hope is switched on for a brighter future

The Tree of Hope has been garlanded with lights and will now become a permanent symbol on a busy Paisley road. The 25-foot high plum tree stands at the front of Mossvale Community Church on Greenock Road.

A crowd of 130 turned up for the switch-on as darkness fell at 8.30pm. People from across the Shortroods area joined the Mossvale congregation as Senior Pastor Hugh Chalk delivered a message of brighter times ahead.
