Married… With Children series is on the way that will reunite the iconic sitcom’s original cast.According to Deadline, Ed O’Neill, Katey Sagal, Christina Applegate, and David Fausti will all reprise their roles as the apathetic Bundy family for an animated revival that is currently being pitched to networks and streamers.The new take on the 1987 sitcom – which aired its final episode on June 9, 1997, and is one of the longest-running live-action sitcoms in television history – will be written by Family Guy executive producer Alex Carter, who also serves as showrunner.Sony Pictures Television, which owns the series, has already closed deals with the show’s original stars.Although no network or streamer has picked the animated series up yet, Fox (which aired the original), and Hulu and Peacock (which show re-runs of the show) are reportedly interested.Created by Michael G. Moye and the late Ron Leavitt, Married… With Children follows the lives of Chicago natives Al Bundy (O’Neill), a woman’s shoe salesman; his lazy wife, Peggy (Sagal); and their children, Kelly (Applegate) and Bud (Faustino).A number of follow-up series have been discussed over the years, but they often fell apart due to the busy schedules of the stars.In 2020, O’Neill wrapped his final episode of Modern Family, which like Married… With Children also ran for 11 seasons.

Britney Spears has announced that she has suffered a miscarriage.Last month, the pop icon revealed that she and fiancé Sam Asghari were expecting their first child together. It would have been the singer’s third overall, following her two sons, Sean and Jayden, both from her former husband Kevin Federline.Today (May 14), Spears took to social media to share the tragic news that she had lost her “miracle baby” in an announcement signed by both her and Asghari.“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy,” Spears wrote.

Ed Sheeran helped to pay for some of the medical treatment that late Wanted star Tom Parker received during his time battling brain cancer.Parker told fans in October, 2020 that he had been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour, and after 18 months of fighting the disease, he died this past March.“It is with the heaviest of hearts that we confirm Tom passed away peacefully earlier today with all of his family by his side,” the singer’s wife, Kelsey, wrote in a post on her Instagram page.In his posthumous autobiography, Hope, which is due to be released on May 26, Parker reveals that Sheeran helped pay for some of his medical bills while undergoing treatment for the cancer.“Pretty much from the moment I was diagnosed, Ed Sheeran reached out to me with an offer to do anything he could to help,” Parker writes in excerpts from the book which were published by The Sun today (May 14).Parker goes on to call Sheeran “a very special man” and adds that the ‘Shape Of You’ hitmaker will “probably be mad” that he’s revealing how he “helped out” with his medical bills when Parker was seeking other treatment options alongside private immunotherapy.“He didn’t need to do any of that, but my wife Kelsey and I are so grateful to him for his support. Eurovision viewers have slammed Switzerland's entry for being "boring" - and have even suggested it'd be perfect for a John Lewis advert.The entry, Boys Don't Cry by Marius Bear, is a melancholic yet uplifting ballad.The performance featured Marius standing alone on stage against a plain black backdrop as animations of tears and a kite played behind him.The song featured lyrics about how men should connect with and express their emotions, and with a understated jazz rhythm akin to a Disney ballad, the song didn’t seem to go down too well with UK viewers. Many fans took to Twitter to express their dislike of the track, labelling it boring.

The Monte-Carlo Television Festival has outlined its plans for the 61st edition which takes place in the principality from June 17-21 this year. Vying for the Golden Nymph awards which honor the best in international television production are 21 programs from 12 countries across three categories.
