Charles Ingram
Charles William Ingram (born 6 August 1963) is an English novelist, computer repairman, and former British Army major who became known for being accused and convicted of cheating on the television game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? in 2001, after winning the maximum prize of one million pounds. Following a lengthy trial at Southwark Crown Court, he was convicted on a single count of procuring the execution of a valuable security by deception. He was convicted of an unrelated insurance fraud in 2003, and ordered to resign his commission as a major by the Army Board.

ITV has given Quiz fans their first look at tonight's finale - which sees the Ingram's dancing with Chris Tarrant in a blockbuster Hollywood dream sequence.

The three-part series has followed the 'coughing major' scandal of 2001 which saw Major Charles Ingram accused of cheating on Who Wants to be a Millionaire in order to win the £1 million top prize.

Charles was convicted of Procuring the Execution of a Valuable Security by Deception alongside his wife Diana and their accomplice Tecwen Whittock in 2003.

But despite the serious nature and debate surrounding the real life drama, the finale offers an excellent tongue in cheek moment in tonight's episode.
