Ian Royce has sadly died. The stand-up comedian, best known as the warm-up act on Britain’s Got Talent and also known as Roycey, died due to pneumonia and multiple organ failure, his family confirmed on social media on Tuesday (September 1). “It is with our greatest regret that we have to tell you all that Ian has passed away today from severe pneumonia and multiple organ failure.

He was in no pain and was surrounded by friends and family. He put up a good fight but is in a better place now,” the message on his official account reads. Ian was also the audience warm-up for the U.K.’s The X Factor and Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, and appeared on Loose Women and The Big Big Talent Show.
