msn.comcoronavirus restrictions after they were pushed back in March. Whilst it's unclear how many guests are attending the ceremony, it has been confirmed that there will be no Zoom element to the Oscars whatsoever, after other award ceremonies received backlash for taking the virtual approach.
The ceremony is set to take place in two locations in Los Angeles at the Dolby Theatre, where it has been held since 2002, and Union Station in downtown LA.
Those nominees who can't make it to LA can instead visit venues in the likes of London and Paris, where they can be filmed for the broadcast, rather than calling in virtually from their homes.
