The wintry snap had prompted the Met Office to issue a yellow weather warning for snow and ice affecting our region - with the risk of some treacherous road conditions.Here is an hour by hour forecast for Tuesday as an amber warning is now in force for snow in parts of our region which have been badly affected.This means heavy snow will cause some disruption during the morning and it is in place until 1pm.It says travel delays on roads are likely, stranding some vehicles and passengers, with some cancellations and delays to rail travel.There is "a good chance" that some rural communities could become cut off.
