Fans of the 1997 film have been eager for it to join Disney’s live-action remakes. They even have dream casts picked out which include Beyonce and Chris Pratt!
Now Disney has confirmed the news, fans are overjoyed! However, it looks like it may not be a scene for scene adaption. Unlike Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King, the film may go down its own path by retelling the story.
And that means we could be losing the incredible music! The project is in the very early stages at this point, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
