ok.co.ukWhen I was called into Joey’s classroom, I was not prepared to see him in such a state. He was slumped, his face had fallen on one side and he couldn’t speak.
I could see in his eyes that he was frightened and it was then I knew, my son had suffered a stroke. Joey has always been special.
He was a clever, healthy and unique boy who we called Joey the Legend. He deserves that nickname so much more now. It was November 2018 when our lives changed forever.
Joey dressed up for non-uniform day in his usual dickie bow and braces – he’s always been eccentric. Coincidentally, I was at school that day for a PTA meeting.
