Plans have been tabled for an extension of the Hale Country Club. The proposals from The Hut Group include an expansion of the club’s car park, a brand new extension to the ground floor of the building, re-cladding the whole of the outside of the site and a refurbishment for the south terrace.

The update of the south terrace is set to include construction of a new pavilion, pergola, serving area and external toilet facility.

A new all weather pitch and football pitch are set to be added to the north of the site too and the whole site is set for landscaping.

The plans are set to be decided by Trafford council next week. A number of nearby residents have already written to the council to object to the plans – with their concerns surround the increased traffic the larger site could attract, the associated noise and light pollution and reduced water pressure to nearby homes.
