Parents are demanding their money back from a Christmas event they say is nothing like was promised. Families who bought tickets for Winter Funland at Trafford's BEC Arena (Bowlers Exhibition Centre) say they feel scammed after being promised 'a winter wonderland' with 'a fabulous indoor funfair' with 'the very best rides from across the UK'.
But rather than having something for the whole family at the 'festive extravaganza', parents say most of the rides were for children under six.
And one of the only things that older children could get on were the trampolines, at a cost of £5 each, when they'd been told all rides were included in the ticket price.
