Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Fraser Forster in January, it's reported, despite a summer knockback from the goalkeeper. The England international returned to Parkhead on loan last season and was instrumental in securing a domestic treble.Forster also impressed with his performances in Europe, with his flying save from Lazio's Marco Parolo immediately entering fan folklore.

Manager Neil Lennon sought to bring the 32-year-old back on another loan but the goalkeeper opted to stay and fight for his place at Southampton.

It was reported over the weekend that Forster had hoped for a switch to Chelsea but they signed Edouard Mendy. Forster hasn't seen a single minute of action for Southampton and The Athletic reports a January move to Celtic could be on the cards.
