First look at new Netflix teen drama filmed in Ireland, Fate: The Winx Saga

evoke.ieWhen Netflix announced it was giving the Riverdale treatment to beloved childhood cartoon, Winx fans were dubious. From Riverdale to The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, the streaming service is known for giving quaint stories a darker, teenage angst reboot.
And to kick off 2021, it is releasing Fate: The Winx Saga, a six-part teen drama about a group of young fairies coming into their power at their boarding school.
The series follows the coming-of-age journey of five fairies Bloom, Stella, Aisha, Terra and Musa attending Alfea, a magical boarding school in the Otherworld where they must learn to master their powers while navigating love, rivalries, and the monsters that threaten their very existence.
