After many lengthy discussions, they opted to go with the former.The latest episode, titled «Shattered,» saw Jess and his team racing against the clock to catch an abuser who was on a warpath, killing everyone in his way, as he desperately searched for his ex-girlfriend, who had given birth to their baby and given it up for adoption.

To make matters worse, he discovered their child was very ill. The hour culminated in a tense standoff in the hospital parking lot between Jess and the culprit, with the two exchanging gunfire.
