In conversation with Jemele Hill on the , the mega-rich actress said her family was the major deciding factor when it came to sticking around for so many seasons.
She told Jemele, "For me, personally, a healthy home life was more important than career...the idea that I have this great husband and these three beautiful children [and] a happy home life was really something I needed to complete, to close the hole in my heart."And starting Grey's when she was 33 definitely played a role.
