In the comics, the character has been seen alongside The Avengers, Daredevil and Moon Knight.An ‘ECHO’ series is in early development for #DisneyPlus and Marvel Studios.

Deadline has confirmed that Hawkeye spinoff series centering around that series character Echo is in early development with Etan Cohen and Emily Cohen set to write and executive produce. Echo aka Maya Lopez is a deaf Native American superhero who has the talent to imitate any opponent’s fighting style. She has also been in the circles of Daredevil, Moon Knight and the Avengers.

Etan Cohen and Emily Cohen are attached to write and executive produce the show, with a writers’ room recently being assembled.

Hawkeye show on Disney+ is even more important than you might realise. Not only will it finally give Clint Barton a chance to bow *ahem* out in the spotlight, but the introduction of his protege Kate Bishop could also help set up the Young Avengers, bringing some much-needed diversity to the MCU.
