Stockport is not linked to a nearby high school, detectives have confirmed. Officers were called to reports of a stabbing in a wooded area off The Fairway in Offerton at around 4.30pm on Tuesday (September 1).Three people were injured during the broad daylight attack which happened near Castle Hill High School.Police have now confirmed that a 17-year-old boy, and two men, aged 21 and 22, were detained and taken to hospital.They remain there with injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening.A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.He remains in police custody for questioning.The incident happened near Castle Hill High School, with a large number of police vehicles parked up outside the school.
