Coronation Street star Simon Gregson was reportedly asked to leave a bar after dancing topless at his co-star's leaving party.

The ITV soap star, 47, who recently called for his character Steve McDonald to leave Weatherfield, was at a leaving do for his on-screen daughter Alexandra Mardell, who plays Emma Brooker, at Albert’s Schloss in the Manchester Deansgate area in February.

Simon could be seen dancing shirtless on furniture after becoming a 'bit merry' before a man, believed to be a bouncer, could be seen holding his arm in an attempt to pull him down from the furniture, in footage obtained by The Sun on Sunday. "He was the life and soul of the party but took it a bit far and it annoyed the bar staff and bouncers in the end," an onlooker told the publication.

"In the end, after a bit of gentle persuasion Simon did what he was told — although he obviously thought they were being killjoys." Meanwhile a lip-reading expert claimed to the publication that Simon appeared to be saying 'f**k' and f**k you' to the bouncers as the two staff members allegedly tried to calm the soap star down.
