Corrie marks Jack P Shepherd’s 20 years on soap by sharing his first scene

evoke.ieA decade or two can roll by in the blink of an eye. It’s hard to believe that it’s been 20 years since a very young Jack P Shepherd joined the cast of Coronation Street.
The past few years have seen Jack, who plays David Platt on the soap, really come into his own by belting out outstanding performances in one gripping storyline after another.
We’ve seen him survive sexual assault, come to terms with losing both of his wives and even endure a spell in jail. Corrie bosses paid tribute to the actor’s two decades on the soap with a tribute on Twitter.
They also unearthed his first appearance on the show and it has gone down a real treat with fans. Announcing the clip, they posted: ‘Throwback Thursday:@JackPShepard88 celebrated 20 years on
