Corrie fans are not happy with Ken Barlow after last night’s episode

Ken Barlow’s departure from Coronation Street after sixty years is sadly imminent. The much-loved character is set to live out the remainder of his days at a retirement home with his partner Claudia Colby in what is a fairly tame goodbye storyline given that most exits usually involve love triangles, killings, and murder trials.

In spite of this, Ken’s departure from the cobbles has been marred with some distressing news and fans are not happy. As it turns out Ken won’t be taking his beloved dog Eccles with him when he leaves.

In Wednesday’s episode, Ken was still having doubts as to whether he wanted to move to the Still Waters retirement home but didn’t feel as if he could share his doubts with Claudia.
