A man has been hospitalised with serious injuries after being attacked in Glasgow. The alarm was raised last night, May 9, after police received reports of a man lying injured in Slatefield Street, in the Gallowgate area of the city, Following in the incident the male was rushed to the Royal Infirmary Hospital for urgent treatment.
Officers from Police Scotland have now launched an attempted murder investigation into the incident which is believed to have taken place near to Comley Park Street between 11.10pm and 11.30pm.
CCTV enquiries captured five men in the vicinity at the time of the incident and officers are particularly eager to speak with them in relation to the assault.They were all wearing dark-coloured clothing.
