An apartment block which was built taller than originally planned can remain, Wigan council has ruled following complaints from neighbouring residents.
The retirement living block which is currently under construction in Standish was built 60cm higher than planning permission granted in 2019 allowed for.
To make up for the higher floor levels, parts of the roof have been lowered.
