Caravaning and UK holiday rules as some accommodation reopens to guests

From April 12, as part of Step Two of the Government's roadmap, staycations are permitted once again as 'self-contained accommodation' can reopen.

Non-essential retail has also been able to welcome back customers, along with outdoor hospitality, hairdressers, salons, libraries, as well as outdoor attractions such as zoos.

But there are still rules in place for campsites and caravan parks, and limits on who can stay overnight. The Government guidance also still asks people to minimise travel as much as possible at this stage.
