Boris Johnson said you should only leave the house if shopping for basic necessities; partaking in one form of exercise a day; for a medical need or travelling to work if it is absolutely necessary.
For drivers, this means that they can still commute in their vehicles - providing the Government's social distancing rules are followed.
But, learner drivers have seen their driving tests cancelled for three months in an attempt to stop the spread of coronavirus.
