Brooklyn Beckham has been sacked as the face of Superdry after a £1 million deal, the latest in a long line of failed career moves.

The 23-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham was announced as an ambassador for the high street retailer in November. However, the deal between them has now reportedly come to an abrupt end as Superdry look for new stars to collaborate with, the Mirror reports.

A spokesperson for Superdry told the Mail on Sunday that they had decided to axe their working relationship with Brooklyn. They said: "Superdry works with a range of brand ambassadors and enjoyed working with Brooklyn during the launch of our new flagship Oxford Street store and during our Autumn/Winter 21 campaign."We always review the ambassadors who feature in our campaigns and decided to work with a different range of talent for Spring/Summer 22."The comment is in stark contrast to the endorsement Superdry gave Brooklyn when he was originally unveiled as their representative.A spokesperson said last year: “To have the endorsement of Brooklyn is a testament to what we’re doing as a brand.

As a business, we want to effect positive change for present and future generations, a generation that Brooklyn is speaking to.”It is believed the deal including promoting the brand on social media including his Instagram which has over 14 million followers.
