Drivers heading along the northbound carriageway of the M6 could be in for some delays this morning, after a broken down crane has blocked part of the exit at junction 21A for the M62.

The first lane of the slip road has been closed to allow for recovery, although the second lane remains open. Highways England posted about the incident on their Twitter page.
