Britney Spears will finally speak in court about her father’s control

Britney Spears is set to break her silence and speak in court as the battle over her conservatorship turns ugly. The Toxic singer is expected to give her first public comments about being under the control of her father on 23 June.

The singer’s lawyer said she had made it clear she would like ‘address the court directly’. It’s not known what the 39-year-old is going to say, but it comes at a time when her parents are at each other’s throats over how she is being cared for.
