understands.He remains in a stable condition in hospital but is improving and police expect him to make a good recovery from his injuries.

When he first went into hospital, he was said to be fighting for his life in a 'critical condition' but since then his condition has stabilised.

He was stabbed several times at Asda in Longsight on Saturday night. The emergency services were called to Stanley Grove just after 7.10pm following reports that a boy had been stabbed.Police are continuing to hunt for the men who attacked him.
